Brian provided a design for the renovation of a barn originally constructed in 1889 in Greentown, OH. The design included providing new metal siding, insulation, and modifications to the structure. The owners also required a production floor, office, breakroom,and separate receiving areas for customers and deliveries. An exterior means of egress was also provided for a separate rental space on the newly constructed second floor.
Brian provided a design for a new 28,000sf pre-engineered metal production line building in Canton, OH. Special consideration was provided for the concrete slabs and footers as they support frequent vibrations and heavy point loads from the production line machinery. Brian also provided Construction Management services and over saw the general construction for the project. Brian has also previously provided metal building addition designs for Kohler Coatings.
Representatives for the IMG tower in Cleveland, OH approached Brian when they needed design documents for necessary repairs to the tower’s façade. Precast concrete panels were spalling away from the building and were in need of patching repairs. Brian provided design documents for the city’s plan review and approval as well as the necessary repairs needed to bring the façade back to a safe condition.
Brian provided a design for a new 8,600sf commercial retail building in Canton, OH. The site proved to be challenging as it is narrow with difficult topography and located at a busy intersection which made drive access to the street difficult. Brian worked closely with Hettler Engineering to achieve a proper site design to accommodate the new building.
